March 14-19, 2001
Roach Dry Lake, Nevada / California
The SBBB 2001 Pilots
The Godfather and the Coreylama
The good, the bad, and the Wind Hog.
Heavy rains flooded Ivanpah
and half of Roach dry lake forcing us to abandon
hopes of racing and spread out amongst the dry banks of area lakes.
Due to light wind conditions, we did more of this...
...than this!
Though the winds were light, we had just enough for the Freestyle competition.
Keith and Troy were there to pump you up!
Bunches of buggy buddies were about.
This year saw many kiteboarders too.
This board was the fastest
although I had
trouble riding
it as a bi-directional board.
When the winds got too light, we pulled out the big stuff!
Other activities were also to be seen.
All in all, we had plenty of room and wind for several days of fun sailing.
Moo!
